Our Advanced Marathon Program gradually progresses each week the same as our Beginner and Intermediate Plans, the only exception is that this plan consists of a higher mileage count per week.
This program is best for experienced marathoners who want to advance their performance and cut down their time. If you are a runner who has been running 45-90 minutes, 5-6 times a week for at least one year, this program is for you!
The Advanced Marathon Program includes race pace workouts, speed work [intervals, tempo, pickups] drills, cross-training and strength and rest days. If you feel you have been running less, try starting with the Intermediate Marathon Program and build your way up to our Advanced Marathon Program.
